How many iPhones does it take to stop an AK-47 bullet?

More than you carry, unfortunately

You know that time that Teddy Roosvelt got shot during a speech, and the paper in his pocket slowed the bullet enough that he was still able to deliver the 90-minute speech? He’s lucky he wasn’t reading it off an iPhone.

Obviously one iPhone can’t stop (or even really slow) a bullet. But if you have enough, they must be able to stop it right? I mean, if water balloons can pull it off.  EverythingApplePro endeavored to find out, and the answer is more than you carry, but maybe less than you’d think.

(Five, the answer is five.)
