Israeli soldiers mock Palestinian journalist during live broadcast – but she does a brilliant job of ignoring them
The professional journalist paid no attention to the three men as they tried to cover her camera while she reported on conflict
An unamused TV presenter mocked by Israeli soldiers as she was in the middle of a live broadcast continued unabashed as thy tried to interrupt her report.
Palestinian journalist Sara al-Adara was reporting from the West Bank village of Abud, near Hallamish in Samarai when three members of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) walked up behind her.
They then proceeded to strike poses, make gestures, cover her camera and interrupt her as she was attempting to report on conflict in the area.
But rather than become distracted and unsettled by their actions, Sara ignored their gestures and finished off her report before handing back to the studio.
According to Israeli news site Nana10, the soldiers were investigated by the IDF after the footage was broadcast on live TV and asked not to repeat the act.
A spokesman said that each solider is well trained in how to deal with media and the procedures have been emphasised to the soldiers in question in the video.
