But what does the Emirates star put his good form down to? Well, according to the man himself, extra shooting practice is behind his incredible start to the season.
Not only has Ozil been providing goals, he has also chipped in with a couple himself, and the former Real Madrid man believes the extra practice has helped with his self-belief.
In an interview with the club’s official website, the World Cup winner said: “After training there are a few shooting drills that can help with self-belief. In general, when you look at my chances in front of goal, I’ve taken them well.
