Samsung has come up with a ‘Safety Truck’, showing the road ahead

Here’s a fantastic way by Samsung to make things a little easier for other drivers when driving around semi-trailers; a giant TV attached to the back of the semi-trailer, reflecting the road ahead for the drivers behind.

While the system is simple, it is a bit costly, as you would require a small camera on the front, that’ll broadcast live feed of the road to the screens behind, including night-vision for night-time. However, as costly as it may be, Samsung has felt like it is a necessity, because according to their video; in Argentina, almost one person dies in a traffic accident every hour.

The prototype of the truck has already been tested, but there aren’t running models at this moment, as Local governments are working together with Samsung on that matter nowadays, trying to figure out how to optimize this fantastic system for practical use. As they write, “So far Samsung has been able to confirm that the technology works and that this idea can definitely save the lives of many people.”
